Great news! As of today, TECH Clean California launched its single family heat pump water heater and HVAC incentives.
Heat Pump Water Heater Incentives:
Market rate and equity incentives will be available ranging from $1,500 to $5,700, depending on location and equity eligibility.
Air-Source Heat Pump HVAC Incentives
$1,000 per unit for Californians without previous electric air conditioning and/or leaving their existing furnace in as backup or for air handling.
$1,500 per unit for Californians with previous electric air conditioning and fully decommissioning their existing furnace
$3,500 per unit for Californians without previous electric air conditioning and/or leaving their existing furnace in as backup or for air handling.
$4,000 per unit for Californians with previous electric air conditioning and fully decommissioning their existing furnace.
Air-to-Water Heat Pump Incentives
Market rate air-to-water heat pump incentives range from $3,500 or $5,000, depending on the global warming potential of the equipment. These projects will be reserved from the HVAC market rate budget and will not have higher equity incentives available.
