Limited Installation Labor Warranty
Our Commitment to Quality Installation
A quality installation is the foundation of a reliable heating and cooling system. We stand behind our installation workmanship and provide a limited installation labor warranty for projects that include this coverage in their signed agreement.
If a defect in our original installation workmanship is identified during the warranty period, we will provide the labor necessary to correct it at no labor charge.
What the Warranty Covers
This warranty covers labor to correct defects directly caused by improper installation workmanship by our company, including:
- Repairing leaks at connections we made when the cause is improper assembly, flaring, or brazing.
- Correcting drain connections and slopes we installed when a drainage problem results from an installation defect.
- Correcting electrical and control connections we made when an installation defect is identified.
- Correcting mounting hardware and other elements of the original installation when the problem results from our workmanship.
Coverage depends on the cause of the problem. For example, a leak caused by an improperly made connection is an installation defect, while a leak caused by a manufacturing defect in a component is addressed under the manufacturer’s warranty.
How Installation and Equipment Warranties Work Together
Your system may have two separate types of warranty protection: our installation labor warranty and the manufacturer’s equipment warranty.
Our Installation Labor Warranty covers the labor required to correct defects in our installation workmanship. The manufacturer’s warranty covers equipment and parts according to its own terms and conditions.
If a failure results from a manufacturing defect in equipment or a component and is unrelated to our installation workmanship, the labor required to diagnose, remove, repair, or replace that equipment or component is not covered by our Installation Labor Warranty and is charged separately unless expressly included in your agreement. This applies even when the manufacturer provides a replacement part at no charge.
Before performing any chargeable repair work, we will explain the cause of the problem, recommend a solution, and obtain your approval of the cost.
Maintenance and External Causes
The installation warranty does not replace routine system maintenance. Cleaning, filter replacement, clearing dirt or blockages, and other routine maintenance services are charged separately unless included in your service plan.
This warranty also excludes work made necessary by normal wear and tear, improper operation, external damage, power surges, or third-party modifications or repairs when those circumstances caused the problem.
How to Request Warranty Service
Contact our company with the installation address and a description of the problem. We will discuss the next steps and arrange diagnostic service if needed.
A technician will determine the cause of the problem and document the findings. Based on those findings and your warranty terms, we will explain which work is covered.
If a defect in our installation workmanship is confirmed, there is no labor charge for diagnosing and correcting that defect. If the issue falls outside the warranty coverage, applicable diagnostic charges will be disclosed in advance, and additional work will be performed only with your approval.
If you disagree with the diagnostic findings, you may submit a written request and supporting information for further review.
Warranty Term and Conditions
The warranty period is specified in your signed agreement. Coverage applies to installation work performed by our company as part of the project for which the Limited Installation Labor Warranty is provided.
Coverage for materials, refrigerant, delivery, specialized lifting equipment, and restoration of finishes is addressed separately in the project’s written terms. The term “Labor Warranty” does not, by itself, include these expenses.
Complete warranty terms are provided before you enter into the agreement. This warranty is our company’s commitment to installation workmanship, not an insurance policy, and does not limit any customer rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
